Our Philosophy

Christians are supposed to be the light of the world, but that doesn’t seem to be so. This blog was opened to help them understand their place in God, to regain their lost heritage. We are supposed to be the salt of the earth but it seems like the salt is stale.

It’s no big surprise that some christians don’t believe in miracles. This is because christians are conforming to the pattern of the world. Very few christian dare to take the bible and it’s promises literally expecting to see the same God of the old to perform today.

Change and Focus

Some christians get rigid forgetting that God is flexible(to the faithful i show my self faithful and to the crooked i show myself shrewd). This dogmatism practised by some christians make them irrelevant to the fast changing world we are in today thereby loosing their taste as salt and glow as the light of the world. Some say: He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is the same but His ways are not the same. (my ways are not your ways). Christians should be like their maker whose personality and power never changes but who’s ways can’t be intercepted. They should always be relevant to their environment just as the bible of 2000 years is relevant to them in this century.

Solution givers

A sick person comes to an unbeliever, he/she refers the person to a doctor. A sick person comes to an average christian in our world today and he/she will also refer the person to a doctor(This doesn’t mean that it is wrong for a christian to go to a hospital. Afterall God gave us brains we should use to recreate). But where is the God that raised people from the dead, Where is the christ that promised us that anything that we ask in his name that it shall be done. God lacks people who dare him to perform, rather He has people who have conformed to the pattern of the world. I love what prophet Elijah of the old testament said: ‘If baal is god we will serve him and if God is God we will serve him. He was sure of his God and could thereby make such bold statements. We should learn to make such bold statements. The problem is that you are afraid to lay your hands on the sick because if they don’t get well you’ll bear the shame which means that if it works you will take the glory. We serve the True God, no doubt about that, but we don’t reflect the power of this God we serve. (For more on solution givers see: What God Won’t do for you)

This blog is for audacious people, people who believe that God is still the same yesterday today and forever.

Redefining Evangelism

Here we show you that your personal success and manifestations are your primary evangelism tool. Especially in this world where talk is cheap. Don’t tell people what the pastor said, show it to them!!! When you are poor/unproductive/irrelevant/unsuccessful etc people look down on you, this includes things you stand for (your God, Principles etc). This tells me that christians are not supposed to be failures. Where we have so many translations of the bible we believe that your life should be a visible translation of the bible. Don’t just tell people how good your God is, let them see it for themselves. Seeing is believing. Man looks on the outward but God looks on the inward and it’s men that we are out to influence. When you direct people to a place, they still have difficulty locating it, but when you lead and they follow they will have no problem locating the destination. A lot of christians today only tell people where to find God instead of leading them to God. This is not to say that i am not guilty of this mishap i speak against.

Missing Contrast:

I have come to realise that one of the problem with christianity today is not just wolves in sheep’s clothing but sheep’s in wolves clothing. Like i said earlier, christians seem to be conforming too much. Some christians are even ashamed to identified as followers of Christ. Sometimes, i am personally tempted to be ashamed to be called a christian because of the atrocities committed by some christians. Nevertheless i have come to understand that not everybody that goes to church and answers the name “Christian” follows christ. Some christians avoid doing the right thing because the wrong things are acceptable. They do this to avoid been branded and called names like fanatic, jesus freak,hater etc. Some christians seek acceptance from the world. This is okay, but the problem comes when you conform to the world just to be accepted by it.

Standing Tall: Christians are supposed to stand tall. It’s easier to stand out because you are away from the crowd. People will see the difference clearly, but standing tall means been seen as different, amongst the crowd. It’s easier to be a christian in the church than to be one outside the church. Here we believe that the glow of christ in you should shine in all aspects of your life and not just in one aspect. There is time for everything, but there is no time to act like a christian and a time you shouldn’t. Your christianity shouldn’t be seasonal. The only time you can hide your identity as a christian is when it helps win somebody into the kingdom. Lol.

Functioning As gods:

We are gods, created in Gods image and likeness. This means we should function like Him. The bible tells us to observe the way the maker does things and fall in line. We are gods and God who we are supposed to be imitating doesn’t just show sympathy, He offers solutions. So we as christians are supposed to be solution givers and not sympathy givers. Anywhere God has compassion on a person or people in the bible He gives a solution. We should do likewise. A lot of christians offer only sympathy because they have not yet discovered the solution giving capacity of God in them. We believe that you should have no business with someone who you can’t help. This may sound harsh but it’s true. Don’t waste time with someone who you can’t help. Rather find somebody that needs and appreciates your help.

You won’t act to the fullness of your capacity if you don’t know what you can do. Here we encourage people to discover themselves.

The best way to know everything that a product can do is by going to its manufacturer. Our maker is God, He knows what we are capable of doing. In this site we try to help you see the unique dimension of divinity in you. This can be attained through personal interaction with your creator. We encourage you to get intimate with God and discover that thing God uniquely designed you to deliver to your world.

Unless people see in us solutions they can’t get else where, we can’t represent God effectively.

 

Let people ask for the contractor that built your life rather than question the contractor you propose to build theirs.
